The Clinch County Chamber of Commerce & Development Authority is proud to continue its Clinch Leadership Academy, now an established program that first launched in 2022. Research supports that communities who equally invest in leadership development, community development, and economic development experience vibrant economies and manageable growth more so than those who do not. The five-month program is designed to grow a diverse base of collaborative leaders who are prepared, equipped, and empowered to serve. The hopes are that the 2026 class roster is made up of 10 to 15 local professionals.
Applicants must:
1. Have an interest in furthering their knowledge about Clinch County and community leadership.
2.Commit to full participation in the program.
• January 22, 2026 – Leadership Kick-Off Day – 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. – Historic Station No. 11 Train Depot
• February 26, 2026 – Community Development Day – 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. – Clinch Memorial Hospital
• March 19, 2026 – Economic Development Day – 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. – Greif
• April 23, 2026 – Community Asset Day – 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. – Fargo EcoLodge
• May 21, 2026 – Graduation – TBA
3. Participants must be willing to attend ONE public meeting of their choice.
4. Employer (or sponsor) must be willing to pay $350 for Chamber of Commerce Members ($500 for non-members) and allow the employee time off to participate.
5. Become active participants in advancing the community and making a positive contribution to Clinch County post-graduation.
